Las Perilas

Last week Mike had some work to do at Gran Pacifica www.granpacifica.com and we needed to stay 2 nights at a condo. It was a blast! We invited our friends the Dalke's for a night and played games and made home made pizzas. It was amazing! Here are a few shots. Normally it's $250 a night for a two bedroom two bath condo and we got to stay free. Woo hoo! I liked that :)

a little more halloween

Mike and I were invited to a Halloween party but were really stumped on what to be! being that we live in a tropical climate we didn't really want to dress in anything too hot! So my brilliant husband came up with the idea to be palm trees! We asked the guards in our neighborhood to cut down some palms for us. It cost all of 10 cords which equals to roughly 50 cents. Can't beat that right? By the way that was for the material to hold the other palms to the one branch. We had a lot of fun! The couple that is sitting in our hammock is Dane and Julie. They are getting married November 22 and they came as a Vegas wedding. Hilarious!

Ireland!

As most of you know Mike and I recently went to Ireland with Mike's parents. It was one of the best weeks of my life! Most of you that read my blog know I've posted most of these on facebook ( and a lot more!) but here are just a few in case you're not on facebook! I could go back to Ireland in a heartbeat! We had such an awesome time. It was difficult to be away from Isaac but Mom and Dad knew he was safe with my Mom, my sister, and Step-Dad Sid. Thanks to my wonderful family for making it happen!

It's about time!

OK, I know what you're thinking. It's about time I blogged again! I have no excuse really. So I'll just kind of pick up what you've missed out on over the last two months. Mike and I celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary on September 24th. woo hoo! It was wonderful here in Nicaragua but we were waiting to celebrate until we went to the States. My mom and sister were awesome to watch Isaac while Mike and I indulged on some EXCELLENT sushi! here are a few pictures of that romantic night.
